Tough family camping Trailer.
If you are looking for a "as new" family camper this one is for you.
Top Tent / canvas section was purchased new from Outdoors and Beyond here in Wagga Wagga, It was made to our specifications in melbourne by Ozzie canvas and purchased through outdoors and beyond.
In early 2008 we fitted it to the custom built trailer shown in the photos.
This trailer has done 95% of its camping by the bidgee 20klms from our home.(approx 25 trips)
We also did one long trip of approx 2000klms.
Trailer info
Fully welded steel construction.
Draw Bar: 100mm x 50mm x 2.5mm standard 50mm coupler
Chassis: 50 x 50 x 3
suspension: 6 leaf spring
Axle: solid 45mm x 45mm
Hubs and brakes: Six stud Landcruiser hubs with electric Brakes.
Wheels and Tyres: White, steel sunraysia rims and as new tyres -235/75R15.
Full size spare wheel / tyre mounted onto stub axle with spare bearings and spare standard hub.
Large lockable tool / storage box with interior led lighting that turns on when door is opened.
2 x 20ltr jerry can holders with plastic water Jerry cans.
1 x 20ltr pvc pipe for water storage - tap fitted at back near food preparation area.
12v power system
3 x 12v outlets at food prep area.
1 x 1000mm long led light permanently fitted to the inside of the tent (switched from inside just near the door)
1 x 1000mm long led light and switch that mounts above food prep bench during set up.
1 x 150mm long led light built into cabinet above each storage draw (switches on when draw opens, switches off once closed)
1 x 300mm led light fitted to underside of camper top, when switched on from same area will illuminate interior of trailer storage area.
1 x 12v fluro light on 4mtrs of lead can be hung or mounted anywhere.
Trailer battery trickle charge from car / plug connection.
Please note Trailer will come with Brand new 100AH battery (not as pictured)
Canvas / Awning / Beds
1 x Double Innerspring Mattress (still have room for bags up top beside main bed)
1 x Kids bunk bed (as pictured)
Floor area of main tent is 3600mm x 2200mm (need to check this)
Main bed area 2200mm x 1800mm
Front awning is 2400mm x 5400mm (need to check) and includes a permanently fitted end wall (can be poled up to extend awning length)and a removable end wall.
Main canvas tent / awning is in great condition, it does however show the usual signs of use, and the canvas on one side was pinched at the hinge point
at some stage and has cut through the side wall at two points (approx 10mm long ea)
The windows all open from the inside of the tent so no going outside when it starts to rain like some others i have seen.
We have camped through many storms and the tent has always performed well.
Kitchen / food prep area:
The tailgate swings out and locks into position, 1 x bench top and shelf then flip up and down into position.(laminex finish)
Storage is via a proffesionally made draw unit mounted into the back of the trailer.
Each of the 4 draws are 315mm wide x 520mm long x 110mm deep (inside measurements)
3 x 12v outlets are mounted to the side of the cabinet for powering your fridge, phone charger, lights etc.
1 x large pop up food pantry is also inc,
We have always used a small portable butane gas cooktop and a small webber B.B.Q (not supplied) for our cooking. We found that this gave us more bench room when preparing food.
1 x 4.5kg gas bottle and hose / regulator will come with the trailer.
The trailer measures: 4200mm long x 1920mm wide x 1350mm high and has rego until 19 March 2012.
